The Slider Acoustic Tile is the latest addition to the Advanced Acoustics product range. After extensive prototyping and testing this product is finally ready. The uniquie profile of this precision cut acoustic tile really is an eye catcher. These Slider Acoustic Foam Tiles will make your studio look and sound like something out of this world. The tiles can be placed in an endless combination of clusters and styles as can be seen from the images we have here. The high performance of the tile is helped by the huge depth of tile which helps to control even troublesome rooms. The increased thickness of tile over other standard tiles also means that even lower mid range frequencies are kept under control to ensure your studio is finely tuned and balanced. The acoustic foam we use in manufacturing these and all our other acoustic tiles and products has been carefully developed to offer you optimum performance. The structure of the cells, the foam's density and the composition of the foam is perfect for offering even, controlled and balanced absorption. With a peak thickness of 70mm thick it offers very good performance for the lower mid range and all the way up to the high frequencies. This is all thanks not only to the foam we use with its density of 30kg/m3 and perfect cell structure but it is also thanks to the design of the profile. The Slider profile we have developed is simple but very effective. By taking no foam out of the tile to create the Slider profile, means there is still plenty of foam per tile to give you that required absorption. The tiles are 12" (305mm) by 12" (305mm). They have a peak thickness of 2 3/4" (70mm) and are 3/4" (20mm) at the base. There are 16 tiles in each pack covering a total area of 16sqft (1.48sqm)

Dimensions - 1.25m by 3m by 2mm thick per sheet (nominal) - 5kg per square meter. A 2mm thin soundproofing mat designed to block and reduce airborne noise through stud walls and timber joisted floors and ceilings. Please note: Soundproofing Mat is a very heavy product and larger orders may require help with offloading! SoundProofing Mat is a heavy layer mineral loaded soundproofing mat nominally 2mm thick with excellent sound blocking qualities and will give significant sound reduction through lightweight structures when used as a sound barrier. It is equal to lead of the same mass in effectiveness and acts as a thin de-coupling sound blocker in stud walls and timber floors. Biggest sound insulation improvements can be achieved when it is used as one layer sandwiched between two sheets of plasterboard on lightweight structures. One layer of Soundproofing Mat has an insulation value of 24dB. Two layers has an insulation value of 29dB. Three layers has an insulation value of 32dB. Normally, a 3dB improvement is equal to a 50% loss in the volume of noise depending on where you are standing!! Because Soundproofing Mat is produced from recycled manufacturing materials, there may sometimes be a 'rubbery' smell when the product is first unpacked. Usually any smell will dissipate within a few days but as a precaution, we advise applying a thin layer of polythene over the insulation on walls and floors before the final covering is installed to seal in any possible smells. For use on floors first ensure the floorboards are securely screwed to the floor so as not to squeak when walked over. Then use our Acoustic Sealant and fill in the joints between the floorboards and around the edge of the room making the floor is as airtight as possible. Then using our Contact Adhesive glue the layers of soundproofing mat to the timber floor.

One pack of tiles contains 16 tiles which are sized 305mm (12in) by 305mm (12in). A pack contains a combination of 8 wedge profile tiles and 8 plain faced tiles with a tapered edge. The CNC profiled tiles offers a greater surface area over flat tiles which enables them to 'catch' sound waves more easily and effectively. The plain faced tiles give you the added amount of foam needed to absorb those lower midrange frequencies more effectively. The profiled tiles have a peak thickness of 40mm and are 20mm at the base. The plain faced tiles are 60mm thick and taper down to 20mm. One pack covers an area of 1.48 m2 (16 ft2). The acoustic tiles are available in dark grey only. These thicker tiles result in more absorption along a wider range of frequencies especially at the mid range where acoustic tiles have to work hardest to give you a room that has greater balance and control. The thicker tiles also mean that you don't need as much of it because it is more effective than thinner acoustic tiles. The foam has a density of 32kg/m3 and a hardness of 180 Newton. The Advanced Acoustics Silent Floor Ultra has gone through many months of development to improve on the already effective Quiet Floor Plus. The Advanced Acoustics Silent Floor Ultra Underlay is more effective, thinner and cheaper than QuietFloor Plus and other similar products. Silent Floor Ultra is an acoustic underlay which will reduce both airborne noise and impact noise. We have used 2mm thick Soundproofing Mat as the core layer to help with reducing airborne noise. Impact noise is reduced by use of a 25kg/m3 closed cell cross linked PE foam. The benefit of this foam as opposed to the reconstituted foam used in other acoustic underlays is that is will not breakdown and crumble over time. The foam we have used in this acoustic underlay is hardwearing and yet still comfortable to walk on. Additionally the foam as well as the sound barrier mat is completely recyclable and free from lead and bitumen. Also because the materials we have selected are durable it has a very long life span. The Silent Floor Ultra is the quickest and most effective means of reducing airborne noise and impact noise for floors which means labour costs are greatly reduced and is simple enough to lay even if you only have basic DIY skills. By using this product instead of regular underlay traffic noise from above is virtually eliminated when used in conjunction with carpet. You will find a lot of acoustic underlays using two layers of soundproofing mat, one of the top and one on the bottom but during the development of this product we found that by going this reduction in impact noise is greatly affected. However performance is improved by removing the top layer of soundproofing mat and instead installing a layer of our 2mm soundproofing mat before fitting this Silent Floor Ultra Acoustic Underlay. Of course if you prefer you can just lay this product straight on top of your floor ready for the carpet or laminate floor to be fitted.

Bass control is probably the most important aspect of your studio treatment and yet is commonly the area that is very often left alone. Installation of low frequency absorbers is especially inportant if the space you are working in is relatively small or the type of music you are working with has a lot of low end energy. The Wedge Bass Traps we have developed are completely CNC machined to ensure a perfect cut every time. The face of the bass trap has been specifically developed for our range of bass traps. Most other bass traps that have a wedge profile cut into them remove a considerable amount of foam from the bass trap thus inhibiting performance. However the Wedge Bass Trap that we have carefully developed ensures that no foam is removed from the volume of a bass trap but instead material is added thus increasing the depth of a bass trap as opposed to reducing it as with other manufacturers. Surface area is increased to make the Wedge Bass Traps bigger than plain faced Bass Traps and so promoting increased absorption. The advantage with this carefull development will become abundantly clear when these are installed in your room. You'll gain more control over your room and especially those low end frequencies which can be detrimental to recordings. Low frequency energy builds up in a room, specifically in corners, and this build up can severely cloud and colour your recordings or get in the way of getting accurate mixes together. The Pyramid profile is synonymous with studios around the world. It is a a classic profile that will never date. And the performance the profile offers is great too. The balance of increased surface area and relative tile thickness ensures that absorption is kept balanced. These 40mm Pyramid Mel-Acoustic Acoustic Foam Panels are 600mm x 1200mm and have a peak thickness of 40mm with the base thickness being 20mm. This Pyramid profile we offer has been carefully calculated by us to ensure we offer the maximum in terms of performance for this thickness. The balance we have made with not taking too much foam out of the panel to create the profile that looks good has resulted in an acoustic panel that gives you the required amount of absorption. Our Mel-Acoustic Range is the latest addition to our product stable. Melamine foam is a flexible open cell foam made from melamine resin. The melamine foam has a high flame resistance, low weight, good thermal properties and also has an extremely high sound absorption capacity. The other great feature of Melamine foam is that it is available in white and it will not discolour. Being halide free, Melamine foam when exposed to either naked flame or extreme heat does not emit any of the toxic by-products associated with conventional polyurethane based acoustic foams. We use a high density version being 16kg/m3. This denser version gives us better results in terms of absorption. The density we use is in some cases almost twice the density of the Melamine Acoustic Foam panels our competitors use which reduces their cost but also reduces their performance. Our Mel-Acoustic Panels have a fire classification of Class '0' and B1. It also has no fibres so it is a non-irritant and so is safe for use in any environment. A self adhesive EPDM resilient foam rubber sealing tape designed to decouple timber and steel stud from surrounding surfaces. Also useful for decoupling timber floors from joists and concrete floors. Description A self adhesive EPDM resilient foam rubber acoustic sealing tape. This product is designed for isolating and cushioning stud walls or battens when applied directly to a wall or fixed to floors, walls and ceilings. The acoustic sealing tape is age resistant and chemically neutral against most commonly used lacquers and plastics. These EPDM acoustic strips are resistant to most caustic chemicals, ozone, moisture and UV radiation. Available self-adhesive in 5 or 10mm thicknesses in various widths and 10m length coils. Widths stocked are between 25mm - 100mm as standard. To Isolate Floors, Walls & Ceilings When using timber in the construction of a new isolated stud wall we would always recommend sitting the stud on 10mm thick acoustic strip. By sandwiching the foam sealing tape between the stud, the floor and surrounding walls and ceiling a much more isolated system is created making the entire structure acoustically more efficient and so dramatically reduces any vibration and flanking noise being transmitted into and from adjoining rooms or properties. Each bass trap is 914mm (36in) tall and 305mm (12in) by 305mm (12in) wide. The bass traps are available in dark grey only. There are two bass traps per box. Bass traps are effective at absorbing those low end frequencies that can overwhelm a mix. Once bass traps are installed in your room bass response will be even and balanced without any harsh peaks ruining the recordings or mixes. The foam has a density of 32kg/m3 and a hardness of 180 Newton. We only use professional grade open cell acoustic foam. We specialize and are dedicated in selling only acoustic foam products. You will not find us selling other products such as upholstery foam or packaging foam, foams which are not suitable for acoustic applications. All of our products meet the requirements of schedule 1, part 1 the Furniture and Furnishings (fire) (safety) Regulations 1988 (amended 1989). This Furniture and Furnishings is a more stringent test then the FMVSS302 which other companies advertise. The FMVSS302 is an automotive fire classification and products which only conform to this classification are not suitable for use in domestic or commercial applications.
